After four months of intensive collaboration with Home Team end-users and HTX Champions, the start-ups of Dimension X Cohort 7 took centre stage at Demo Day during Milipol TechX (MTX) 2026 at Marina Bay Sands, unveiling nine proofs-of-concept (POCs) developed to address real-world public safety challenges faced by Singapore's Home Team.

As Hatch's open innovation challenge, Dimension X connects deep-tech innovators with the Home Team to rapidly validate solutions in real-world environments. Through the four-month programme, selected start-ups work hand-in-hand with their HTX Champions and Home Team end-users to test, refine and demonstrate technologies with tangible mission impact, supported by up to SGD $100,000 in non-dilutive funding.

Beyond their Demo Day pitches, Cohort 7 start-ups also showcased their innovations throughout the three-day MTX exhibition, engaging Home Team officers, international delegations, ecosystem partners and industry leaders from around the world. The event provided a platform for valuable conversations on the future of public safety innovation and the growing role of deep-tech solutions in addressing identified operational challenges.

1 Demo Day, 9 Cutting-Edge Proofs-of-Concept Driving Public Safety Innovation

Ariel Photonics × Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)

Non-lethal laser vehicle immobilisation by remote tyre puncturing
Ariel Photonics explored a non-lethal method to rapidly immobilise threatening or non-compliant vehicles at checkpoints using advanced laser technologies.

Arke × Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF)

Modelling carbon emissions for early firefighting response
Arke's proof-of-concept modelled carbon emissions across different firefighting response scenarios, helping SCDF better understand environmental impacts and future operational trade-offs.

Blackshark.ai × HTX Forensics Centre of Expertise

Blast scene mapping with 3D evidence detection
Blackshark.ai developed a solution to reconstruct large outdoor scenes in 3D, enabling forensic teams to remotely revisit scenes and identify critical evidence more effectively.

BNF × Home Team Sustainment Centre (HTSC) Operations

AI automating SOC CTI analysis for threat prioritisation
BNF demonstrated an AI-powered cybersecurity intelligence dashboard that helps analysts prioritise threats and strengthen the protection of critical public systems.

Classiq × HTX Disruptive Technologies Office (DTO)

Quantum computing for predicting molecular toxicity from binding energies
Classiq applied quantum computing techniques to improve the prediction of molecular toxicity, supporting deeper understanding of potentially harmful substances.

Multimodal × Singapore Police Force (SPF)

Agentic AI for secure case triage, workflow automation, and faster decisions
Multimodal demonstrated how secure AI agents can automate the processing of case materials, helping investigators save time and improve decision-making.

Pax Intelligence × HTX xCybersecurity

Predictive platform enhancing HTX security threat posture and proactive defence measures
Pax Intelligence showcased a predictive threat intelligence platform that helps identify vulnerabilities and shift cybersecurity efforts towards proactive defence.

Venti Technologies × HTX Vehicle and Weapon Systems (VWS) Centre of Expertise

Centralised multi-type vehicle fleet management system with teleoperation
Venti Technologies validated a centralised platform capable of coordinating and remotely operating multiple autonomous vehicles simultaneously across real-world environments.

Vertical Aerospace × HTX Vehicle and Weapon Systems (VWS) Centre of Expertise

Valo eVTOL for rapid medical response
Vertical Aerospace explored how electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft could accelerate emergency medical response and evacuation missions to remote and offshore locations.

From Validation to Deployment

Dimension X continues to demonstrate the power of close collaboration between start-ups, HTX and Home Team agencies to accelerate the adoption of breakthrough technologies. By creating opportunities for rapid proof-of-concept validation while maintaining alignment with operational requirements, the programme helps bridge the gap between innovation and real-world deployment.

As Cohort 7 celebrates its achievements, Hatch remains committed to connecting global innovators with public safety challenges that matter.
